Education Team The Royal Society of New Zealand promotes an awareness of science and technology in schools, in industry and in society.Ê We are looking for an experienced person to help us develop relationships with key agencies and to implement new initiatives. You will have an affinity with science and technology education at the compulsory education level (Years 0 * 13) and be able to analyse the issues facing its future and to look for solutions on how to move forward. You will need to be comfortable in presenting your ideas and be able to build relationships based on your skills and knowledge. As we are a small team you will also have a practical bent and be able to implement new initiatives from scratch which will be a key part of this position. The person we are looking for will be comfortable working with a team of people making things happen in science, technology and mathematics education. You will be able to work in an open plan environment and have a good sense of humour!
