An excellent opportunity has become available for a Post-Doc Scientist in dairy farm systems at DairyNZ, Lincoln. As a key member of the feed and farm systems research team, you will conduct ground breaking dairy research and, by contributing to development initiatives, you will transfer new technologies and knowledge to dairy farmers. This is your opportunity to play a major role in an innovative research environment centred around the new Lincoln University Research Dairy Farm and make a big impact to New Zealand dairying. You will possess a PhD in a relevant field of feed and/or farm systems with experience in quantitative research methodology and you will have a proven understanding of dairy science and systems. In particular, you will have a good understanding of agronomic and feed related issues in pasture based dairy systems and ideally you will have experience in the use of farm systems modelling packages or knowledge of remote sensing technologies.
